Beating Cancer

Being able to laugh is one of the critical elements in beating cancer.  Andrea Lynn Katz will make you laugh!

Beating cancer requires your ability to surround yourself with accurate information, great doctors, the right medications, family, friends, and yes -- laughter.  Contrary to popular belief, cancer and laughter are not mutually exclusive terms. In fact, Andrea Lynn Katz, a self-declared CCS (certified cancer survivor) is a firm believer in using laughter to help restore good mental and physical health.

After being diagnosed with an incurable form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in December 2007, Andrea quickly realized that there was a real lack of good humor that cancer patients and survivors could relate to.  Known for her quick wit, she decided to change all that by creating an autobiographical character named Chemo KateLynn and writing the book, Chemo KateLynn: Humorous Perspectives on Life Before Cancer and After Diagnosis.  The book is a witty, cleverly illustrated commentary about various slices of life (e.g., family dynamics, business relationships) as seen from the “BC” (before cancer) perspective and the “AD” (after diagnosis) perspective.

In addition to being an author and cancer survivor, Andrea Lynn Katz is also a motivational, inspirational and downright funny speaker who can bring the gift of laughter to those beating cancer.  If you are looking for a cancer survivor, humorist, author or motivational speaker, Andrea Lynn Katz is all of them rolled into one “put together lady” who can add laughter into the mix of remedies for anyone beating cancer.
