Coping with Breast Cancer

If you are coping with breast cancer or know someone who is coping with breast cancer, the book, Chemo KateLynn: Humorous Perspectives on Life Before Cancer and After Diagnosis is a book you should read.

Coping with breast cancer, or any cancer for that matter, is difficult at best.  Being able to continue to laugh is a very important ingredient in one’s battle with this disease. This book provides enough ammunition to help keep cancer at bay!

Andrea Lynn Katz, the book’s author, is a cancer survivor (or, as she likes to refer to herself, a “CSS” – Certified Cancer Survivor).  She created the character Chemo KateLynn (her alter ego) and wrote the book while undergoing chemotherapy for the treatment of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  The book is a witty and cleverly illustrated commentary on life as seen through the eyes of Chemo KateLynn in her “BC” (before cancer) days and her “AD” (after diagnosis) days.

As Katz has said, “There’s nothing funny about a diagnosis of cancer, but there are funny things that happen to a person along the way as one fights the disease.”  That’s what this book tries to capture.  Katz is also a motivational speaker who inspires and challenges breast cancer patients and all cancer patients to live their lives to the fullest even as they fight their battle with cancer.

If you need help coping with breast cancer or know someone who needs help coping with breast cancer, Andrea Lynn Katz can help.
