Coping with Cancer

If you are coping with cancer or know someone who is coping with cancer, the book, Chemo KateLynn: Humorous Perspectives on Life Before Cancer and After Diagnosis is a must-read!

Shortly after she was diagnosed with an incurable form of non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in December 2007, Andrea Lynn Katz quickly realized that there was a real lack of published humor that cancer patients and cancer survivors could relate to.  She decided to change.  As she was coping with cancer and chemotherapy, Andrea created her alter ego Chemo KateLynn and authored this book.  The book is not just about coping with cancer.  It’s a book about coping with life – as seen through the eyes of a Chemo KateLynn in her “BC” (before cancer) days and her “AD” (after diagnosis) days.  Its pages are filled with cleverly illustrated scenes by Brandon Friend, making these humorous slices of life come alive for all.

In addition to coping with cancer and writing about it, Andrea Lynn Katz is also a motivational speaker.  Known for her quick wit, and armed with her CCS degree (Certified Cancer Survivor), Andrea gives practical advice sprinkled with appropriate humor throughout to help other cancer patients and cancer survivors overcome the sadness and despair that often accompanies a diagnosis of cancer.
