Humor Therapy

Humor therapy is as important as chemotherapy when it comes to a person’s battle against cancer.  Andrea Lynn Katz, a cancer survivor and author of the book, Chemo KateLynn: Humorous Perspectives on Life Before Cancer and After Diagnosis, will attest to that fact.

This book is a book filled with humor therapy.  Written by a cancer survivor for cancer survivors, it helps cancer patients find humor as they deal with the emotional and physical side effects of this disease.

While the author’s clever wit permeates every scene in the book, the illustrator’s talent makes the heroine, Chemo KateLynn, come alive.  There are a total of 23 cleverly  illustrated scenes depicting various slices of life – from office politics to family dynamics – as seen through Chemo KateLynn’s eyes, both in her BC (before cancer) and AD (after diagnosis) days.  Anyone reading this book will appreciate its humor therapy.

If you want to brighten the days of a friend or a loved one who is fighting cancer, give that person the gift of laughter.  It is bound to be the best humor therapy you can find.
